THE FOOD PARADOX

Help support this series of cinematic portraits focused on discussing the
economics and ecology of North America’s rapidly changing food systems.

This project is an eye-opener to issues related to our food system. During the research for this project, we learned intimate information about the food systems and their impact on people.
We feel compelled to share these stories with you through the Food Paradox Documentary project.

Our intimate access to these stories gives us an angle that is unfiltered and un-compromised.

The series will comprise of:

A compilation of information on food and social sustainability.

The inside stories of the direction that commodities and cash crop farming are headed in.

The reasons behind why conventional farming is still a model we can and need to learn from.

An unbiased approach to the vegetarian debate.

A compassionate look at the struggle of small organic farming.

Examining a few models of modern farming and vertical farming sector.

A glimpse at the innovators who are bringing a resurgence  back to urban food gardening

The fact that the keys to solving the impending food crisis are hidden among each and everyone one of our story candidates – together – is what defines the Food Paradox.

Our Mission:

We are focused on portraying the lives and experiences of these farmers, food producers, consumers and the role they play in the food cycle. The idea is to show the current range of today’s rapidly changing agricultural scene – from the most traditional methods to the most cutting edge in farming economics and farming ecology.

The human factor has always been the most important aspect of how we produce and consume food. The goal of this project is to honor the efforts and resilience of the people at the heart of this good fight.
